Every Sunday at 17:00 ET Players Only Poker runs a $125,000 guaranteed tournament with a $150 + 12 direct buy-in. The top prize for this tournament is typically in the $32-36,000 range, sometimes even more. Generally, the top 13% of the field makes it into the money. For example, when there are 820-999 players, the top 130 make the money. When 1000 – 1189 players register, the top 150 players make the money.
The Players Only Sunday $125K tournament gives players starting stacks of 5000 chips and the blinds go up every 15 minutes. The blinds start at 15/30, then go to the following schedule:
25/50, 50/100, 75/150, 100/200, 150/300, 150/300 + 30 ante, 200/400 + 40 ante, 300/600 + 50 ante, 400/800 + 75 ante, 500/1000 + 100 ante, 600/1200 + 120 ante, 800/1600 + 150 ante, 1000/2000 + 200 ante, 1250/2500 + 250 ante, 1500/3000 + 300 ante, 2000/4000 + 400 ante, 2500/5000 + 500 ante…and so on.
Players Only Poker $125,000 Satellite Tournaments
Satellite tournaments for the Players Only Sunday $125K start for as little as $2.20. The $2.20 satellites come in regular or turbo formats, and all of them are rebuy + add-on tourneys. Players start with 1500 chips and unlimited 1500 chip rebuys are available until the first break. A 2500 chip add-on is available during the first break. Rebuys and add-ons cost $2.
In the regular speed, $2.20 satellites, the blinds go up every 10 minutes. In the turbos, the blinds go up every 6 minutes. Play Now
Steps Satellites: Players can choose between cash or Gold Chip Steps satellites for the $125K as well. Step 1 has a buy-in of either 22 Gold Chips, or $5.40 in cash. Step 1 is a turbo sit-n-go, with 6 minute blinds. The top 3 players make it to Step 2, while 4th place gets $5 cash.
If you prefer, you can buy directly into Step 2 for $14+1. These have 10 minute blind levels, and the top 3 players move on to Step 3. Fourth place gets $16.10 in cash.
Step 3 can be bought into for $39 + 2.30, has 10 minute blind levels, and the top 2 players win a seat into the Sunday $125K tournament. 3rd place wins $42.90, and fourth gets $23.10.
Players Only Monthly $250,000 Guaranteed
One Sunday every month, Players Only Poker replaces the $125K tournament with a $250K guaranteed tournament. This tournament has a direct buy-in of $250+18, and satellites can be played for as little as $3.30 in rebuy + add-on tournaments. There are also Steps tournaments available for the $250K guaranteed, starting at $4 + .20 at Step 1.
In the monthly $250,000 guaranteed players get 10,000 chip starting stacks and slightly improved blind structure over the $125k Sunday guaranteed. The top prize for this tournament is generally in the $55-65K range, with everyone at the final table clearing $4000 or more.
